There are dour albums that have found their way into my heart eventually… this is not one of them.

I was on a plane with Roger Waters a few years ago. He was wearing a brown corduroy jacket and was not flying first class. Couldn’t tell what he was reading but I’m sure it was something light and cheerful.

The end of Pink Floyd I and the beginning of Pink Floyd II, which took a while to build up a good head of steam. Except for “Jugband Blues” (one of my favorite songs ever) this is Pink Floyd I lite – not a bad thing, and quite listenable… just somewhat uneventful.
