    This, along with the 1st Bo Diddley album, were my first records – left me when my much older half brothers went off to college. Those 2 records forever shaped not just my love of music, but what I loved.

    I didn’t even own any 45s yet. Of course in the late 50s we just listened to our Japanese transistor radios, and spent more on 9-volt batteries than records.
