		<description>I gotta agree with Curty Ray.  This album is still amazingly intimate and powerful nearly 40 years later, setting the bar so high that most of Lennon&#039;s other solo work seems like a failure in comparison.

There&#039;s an interesting documentary on the making of this album (done by VH1, I think) where they said that, after working on John&#039;s album for weeks, they basically cut Yoko&#039;s record in a day or two with her singing over the band jamming.  Seen in that light, it might be possible to appreciate Yoko&#039;s work (although to give it a similar title and cover photo as Lennon&#039;s album almost guaranteed it would be compared to his music -- and found sorely lacking).</description>
